Eligibility

Maryland National Guard members or guard member sponsor must be a current member of either the National Guard Association of Maryland (NGAM) or Maryland Enlisted Association of the United States.

Maryland National Guard members or dependents in a full-time or part-time student status, can get up to $1,000 scholarship for tuition, fees, and books for one academic year.

A scholarship recipient may receive the award in the following years, but they need to compete for it again as if they were a new applicant.
