MS Veteran America

The National Guard Association of Maryland (NGAM) congratulates our very own Maj Elise Dent for winning the Ms. Veteran America 2021 pageant on 10 Oct 2021.  NGAM’s Joint Forces Headquarters Representative became one of twenty finalists early on in 2021.  Maj Dent went on to showcase her purpose for competing, poise, confidence, and strength, which propelled her into the top 10 finalists.  A talent demonstration and evening gown competition advanced her to one of the top three finalists.  An answer to a challenging question asked of all three final contestants; ultimately sealed the judges’ decision and Major Elise Dent was crowned Ms. Veteran America 2021.

NGAM’s heartfelt congratulations go out to Maj Dent and her family for this win.  Elise will hold the crown for the next year while continuing to advocate for Final Solute Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to end homelessness for women veterans across the United States.
