The National Guard Association of Maryland Awards Program recognizes individuals and organizations who have promoted, fostered and/or improved the well-being of personnel of the Maryland National Guard. These individuals and organizations will be honored for their outstanding performance, acts of heroism, service of a meritorious nature and patriotic activities which have made a major contribution to the National Guard Association of Maryland (NGAM) or the Maryland Army/Air National Guard.

Air- Outstanding academic achievement and performance at Officer Candidate School
2nd and 3rd Honor Graduate of graduating Maryland Military Academy
For exceptional legislative effort of behalf of NGAM by a Legislator of Maryland
For outstanding leadership while attending a Non-commissioned Officer school
Association’s highest honor for exceptional service by a civilian or military leader
For outstanding academic achievement while attending a Non-commissioned Officer school
Conspicuous service to the cause of national defense by a citizen of Maryland
