The NAGM scholarship program was designed to foster
academic excellence by providing deserving individuals assistance
through scholarship funding for educational expenses. These scholarships
are for one year to attend any accredited college, university or
vocational technical school.
College scholarships up to $1000 are available for
recipients who are full-time or part-time students. The grant may
be used for tuition, fees and books during one academic year. The
recipient of a scholarship may be given the award in subsequent
years, however the individual must compete for the scholarship on
the same basis as a first-time applicant.
The program is administered by the Scholarship Committee
of the National Guard Association of Maryland. Scholarship grants
are available to any member of the Maryland National Guard, enlisted
or officer, their spouses and children.
